Families of Autistic Children Together

Welcome to our organization

FACT has been organised by families and friends who recognise what the benefits of additional care and therapy can bring when applied in conjunction with the normal day to day techniques autistic children get from their respective schools.

About Us

All Autistic children require different levels of therapy and care.

We believe our charity is unique because we concentrate on providing help specifically for our children on a one to one to one basis. Evidence suggests that applying these one to one techniques can dramatically improve communication skills between families

Our ultimate aim is for everyone with Autistic children to be able to communicate on a much higher level and enjoy the special reward this brings, in particular, to the understanding of relationships that we take for granted.

Parents can learn Makaton, a sign language for children, whilst the children play in safe environment supported by our fully trained CRB approved staff.
We have a music room, sensory chill-out room, five a side football supported by a coach. We also have speech and language therapy and play therapy.

As we are a charity, we hold fund raising events and hold coffee mornings and you can join the other parents and children in helping our charity grow.

The Future

We have grown from humble beginnings in 2010 to now helping over 200 families on a regular basis.

It is our dream to have our own specially built home with all the facilities we require for the future, rooms for therapy and play, accommodation for parent respite as well as living accommodation for the children who are able to take care of themselves..

As we progress with our Charity, this dream will eventually become a reality.
